Short-term adjustments can provide immediate solutions, just as a captain can adjust sails in response to changing winds. If sailing isn’t your preference, consider the parallels in aviation or mountaineering. The same principles apply whether you’re at 35,000 feet above the Pacific or scaling a peak at 4,000 meters.
