While there’s no assurance of winning a lottery or receiving a job offer, if we don’t put ourselves in the running, our chances remain nonexistent. We must make our presence known and express our interest.

Have a crush on that stunning girl? Don’t just daydream about it — engage her in conversation! Let her know how you feel. It can be daunting, and rejection is a possibility, but you might be surprised to learn that she feels lonely too. Opening up can make a significant difference.

Do you admire a teacher or author so much that you wish to connect with them? Don’t keep your admiration to yourself; reach out!

This seems so straightforward, yet fear of rejection often holds us back time and again.

How many stories have we heard of college students who had mutual crushes but were too timid to express their feelings? If they’re fortunate, they may reconnect years later, but if not, that chance is lost forever.

So, regardless of your aspirations, muster up your courage. It’s essential to let them know you’re there.
