Chapter 1: The Journey to Publication
I’m thrilled to announce that my book, "Tales of a Scorched Coffee Pot," has officially launched! Like a proud parent, I can hardly contain my excitement. This marks my first attempt at a more structured release strategy—planning it three months ahead and actually promoting it. While I'm uncertain if this approach yields better results, it certainly feels more intentional compared to my usual method of releasing books without much fanfare and quickly moving on to the next project.

For those unfamiliar, here's a brief overview of the book:
Life in a locally owned, health-focused grocery store chain may be organic, but it’s anything but natural! Anyone who has spent time in retail or in an office setting will find plenty to chuckle at and relate to in this comedic saga. It captures the chaotic environment of a company where the drama feels all too familiar—from overbearing bosses who insist “someone” needs to take action when issues arise, to technophobes causing mayhem, and the common misconception that “Good With Computers” is an actual department. This fresh, contemporary workplace story is so realistic that you might feel like you've lived it yourself. But surely, nothing this absurd could happen in real life, right?
Writing this book has prompted me to reflect on my motivation for creating stories. If I were never to sell another book again (which, let’s face it, is a genuine possibility), would I still be as passionate about writing? I believe the answer is a definitive yes, yet I remain puzzled about the underlying reason. In fact, if I were the last person on Earth, I suspect I would still write every day for the rest of my life—how strange is that?
Without delving too deep into spirituality or mysticism, I often feel that my writing compulsion is largely beyond my control. When I hear individuals—some of whom are renowned scientists—discuss the notion that our universe might be a computer simulation, I can't help but find some truth in that idea. This writing journey feels like I’m merely following a program, as if I’ve been assigned this role to fulfill, and I am diligently executing it day by day for whatever creator has placed me here.
Now, back to my book—"Tales of a Scorched Coffee Pot" is available for purchase on Amazon and my website, featuring a few chapters that were not included in the serialized version. If you’ve enjoyed what you’ve encountered so far, I encourage you to order your copy today! Additionally, if you’re willing to review my work, I might be persuaded to send you an advance copy—just leave your email in a comment or reach out to me at [email protected], and I’ll arrange for one to be sent your way.
Thank you for your support!
